The INCM and the Secretary of State of the Council of Ministers of East Timor sign a partnership agreement

October 23, 2013

The Secretary of State of the Council of Ministers of East Timor and the Portuguese Mint and Official Printing Office (INCM) today entered into a partnership agreement aimed at developing the skills of Gráfica Nacional de Timor-Leste (GNTL) - the East Timorese national printing office.

The agreement was made official in the Noble Hall of the Casa da Moeda building, following the signatures of the Secretary of State of the Council of Ministers of East Timor, Avelino Coelho, and the president of the INCM's Board of Directors, António Osório.

The signing of this protocol will allow GNTL to improve its existing capabilities and acquire new skills at the project production, management and development levels, specifically the editing and publication of the official journal, the preparation, production and personalisation of secure identification documents and the design and manufacturing of graphic products in general.

The scope of this agreement also envisages the INCM and the GNTL working together on new projects in the areas of graphics, publications and the development of secure electronic platforms, as well as the provision of technical training to East-Timorese staff.
