The INCM participated in the public ceremony to commemorate the first year since the founding companies joined the “Businesses for Equality” Forum and the signing of new agreements to join, which took place today at Galp Energia Auditorium, in Lisbon.

The ceremony was marked by 10 new companies joining the “Businesses for Equality” Forum and by the founding companies renewing their commitments for 2014, including the INCM, which was represented by a member of its Board of Directors, Maria Luísa Pacheco.

During the event, which was attended by Teresa Morais, Secretary of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Equality, and by Octávio de Oliveira, Secretary of State for Employment, a review was also made of the Forum's activity over the year.

The “Businesses for Equality” Forum is a joint initiative by several public and private companies, who are taking on the commitment of implementing a set of measures to improve gender equality policies, under the auspices of the Commission for Equality in the Workplace and Employment (CITE in Portuguese).
