INCM produces first commemorative coin of East Timor’s currency

December 26, 2012

The first commemorative circulation coin of East Timor’s currency, showing D. Boaventura de Manufahi, a historical figure who became a symbol of the courage and determination of the Timorese people, was produced by INCM under the agreement with the Central Bank of East Timor.

The coin has a face value of 100 centavos and was produced according to the highest standards of quality, using specially prepared blanks and polished dies that produce the BU (brilliant uncirculated) special finishing. It is a limited issue of 2000 coins packaged in an illustrated wallet.

This coin can be purchased in the INCM stores from 14 December, as well as the annual series of the 2012 East Timor circulation coins, in BU and proof special finishings, also produced by INCM under the agreement signed with the Central Bank of that country.
