The INCM participates in the A2B session at the Centre of Excellence for the Dematerialisation of Transactions

July 20, 2012

The INCM has participated in the A2B session, organised by the Centre of Excellence for the Dematerialisation of Transactions (CEDT in Portuguese), in partnership with the UPIN - Porto Innovation University, held in the Reitoria Library at the University of Porto on the 10th of July.

The main objective of this session was to involve the members of the CEDT's skills network in identifying scientific and technological challenges that are currently being faced and, at the same time, to present skills and technologies identified in the information and communication technology sector that may be able to respond to these challenges.

During its presentation, the INCM had the opportunity to share its experience in the field of dematerialising transactions. It also posed various scientific and technological challenges to the academic community associated with security issues, such as biometrics and the digitalisation of documents.

Various other companies from the CEDT's skills network participated in this initiative alongside the INCM, as well as more than 15 research units and start ups from the University of Porto, involving more than 35 participants.
