Protocol between the INCM and the DGPC

The Portuguese Mint and Official Printing Office and the Directorate General of Cultural Heritage (DGPC in Portuguese) entered into a cooperation protocol for the promotion and development of Portuguese cultural heritage, on the 18th of June at 4 p.m. at the National Museum of Ancient Art in Lisbon.

The protocol sets out a framework for cooperation between the INCM and the DGPC for the implementation of projects related to promoting and disseminating culture, tradition, history and cultural heritage.

The INCM and the DGPC are interested in establishing a relationship of cooperation in the area of publishing, specifically through the co-editing of reference publications - monographs, guidebooks, catalogues of collections and exhibitions, periodical publications, studies of history and art, archaeology, ethnology, inventories and conservation and restoration, among other topics. These publications are aimed at raising awareness of scientific research and the production of knowledge in the area of cultural heritage, establishing partnerships and ongoing and up-to-date dialogues with peers in Portugal and overseas.
