September 18, 2012

The INCM formed part of a team of training personnel present in Malaysia between the 3rd and 14th of September, to give an advanced course on Security Documentation, Document Fraud and the Control and Management of E-Borders, as part of the Anti Crime Capacity Building (ACCBP) programme that is being implemented by the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

In addition to the INCM representative, this team of training personnel was made up of three experts from the Foreigners and Borders Service and representatives from the member states of Germany and The Netherlands, as well as various local experts in the capacity of observers.

For several years the INCM has been participating in various international training activities, along with other activities implemented under the ACCBP. Just like this activity, they are aimed at providing support to the countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, strengthening the capabilities of their government authorities to manage their borders and migratory flows more efficiently.
