Project Summary
Through the present operation INCM intends to modernize its administrative activity in order to become a more decentralized, dematerialized, and simplified organization. This will contribute to an increase in management efficiency and to quality and competitiveness, both nationally and internationally, both in the production of goods and services that are fundamental to the functioning of the Portuguese State, and in the relationship between people and organizations, among themselves and with the State.
This project is composed of 5 initiatives in strategic areas of INCM’s operation INCMthat have been defined, either by their importance in the service provided, or by the impact for the citizen and customers/economic agents of INCM INCM.
These initiatives correspond to:

Project Summary
The improvement of services foreseen for the new DRE website, as well as the broadening of its functionalities, will make legal documentation available to citizens in a much more efficient and effective manner. The new Search, Translation, Legal Dictionary, Consolidation of Legislation, and Legal Translator functionalities, as well as the increase in the amount of information available, are obvious improvements that have everything to increase the use of the service by citizens, companies, and all Public Administration entities.
The accessibility and usability of the DRE will experience significant improvements that will make information available to all in a clear and transparent manner. All efforts will be made to provide users and customers with more accessible content and services, regardless of the type of software, hardware, network infrastructure, language, geographical location or special needs that may exist.
With the entry into force of the new Jewelry and Costume-Processing Law, laser engraving/marking has become an obligatory service provided by the costumers when an article with precious metal does not support, due to its constitution, the mark to be affixed by the costumers’ punch. It is intended to develop a new business concept associated with the certification of the industry and trade of precious metal artifacts, introducing new marking technologies and techniques for the control and safety of artifacts.

Project summary
INCM produces the Citizen’s Card, operationalizing and maintaining its entire technological and applicational infrastructure, and is the entity responsible for publishing the Official Gazette. Both products have clear synergies that could be leveraged and aligned with the return value of both products.
As far as the Citizen’s Card is concerned, there is every interest in promoting the use of electronic certificates on the card, increasing security and legal adequacy to acts practiced in a dematerialized way. The project will allow the electronic use of the Citizen’s Card to be enhanced and the dematerialization of processes in the Public Administration to be massified, without the organizations having to spend money on certificates issued by private entities that attest to a given position/professional quality.

The Certification System of Professional Attributes (SCAP) will allow citizens and companies to authenticate themselves through the Citizen’s Card, and by the service of association of business attributes, it allows the certification of qualities and powers of the citizen, in the context of a company, for authentication and qualified signature.

Project summary
The MoedInov project aims to apply innovative technologies to create new aesthetic effects on collector coins, such as the possibility of creating coatings, finishes, hybrid structures or textures, which combine aesthetic effects with properties such as high resistance to wear, impact, abrasion, with chemical stability not allowing color alteration when exposed to various chemical agents such as sweat, creams, as required by the components used in coins.

Project summary
The Decoding the Legislation project foresees the use of Artificial Intelligence techniques to implement a solution that makes the legislation accessible to everyone, applied to a use case in the scope of the Consumer Rights Defense. This project aims, therefore, to improve the accessibility and interpretation of the contents provided in the Portuguese Legislation, so that any citizen is autonomously able to interpret it.
