Natural resources must be conserved and managed in a sustainable way, especially those that are non-renewable or essential to life. To this end, actions must be implemented to minimize negative impacts on air, water, and soil, preserve biodiversity, protect and improve the quality of the environment, and promote responsible production and consumption. The protection of the environment is a duty from everyone to everyone.

This vision and environmental responsibility are perhaps more relevant today than ever before, in a context where the planet and humanity are confronted with the unsustainability of its socio-economic growth model and the need for a change in behavior, as demonstrated by the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

For INCM, environmental responsibility is a cross-cutting commitment to all its areas of activity and includes pollution prevention and resource protection, ensuring compliance with all compliance obligations and other legal requirements, continuous improvement, and the alignment of the company’s strategic guidelines with the UN’s SDGs and their respective targets.
