INCM’s social responsibility, based on its values and historical legacy and on a culture of support and active involvement in the community, seeks to make a difference and contribute to a fairer and more solidary society.

To fulfill this purpose, INCM, through its Volunteering Stock Exchange, promotes regular corporate volunteering actions that enable the involvement and participation of all male and female workers, as well as their families, retirees, and company partners, in initiatives that have an impact on the community.

Besides the activity developed by the INCM’s Volunteer Work Exchange, the company also develops special social intervention projects based on its unique capabilities, namely identification solutions for the third sector or the production of solidarity coins and books, which contribute part of its revenue to support causes and institutions, besides occasional social emergency actions, through partnerships with capable organizations.

INCM tries to align its social responsibility initiatives and actions with the company’s mission, vision, values, and strategic guidelines, as well as with its several activity areas, taking into account the following criteria:

– Development of its employees and their citizenship skills;

– Citizen service;

– Promotion of the Portuguese language and culture;

– Sustainable development;

– Development of social innovation projects.

INCM is also a member of GRACE – Responsible Companies, which is part of the Voluntary and Citizenship task force.
