A Brazilian delegation visits INCM

As part of a protocol of cooperation established with Casa da Moeda do Brasil (CMB - The Brazilian National Mint), INCM today played host to a delegation of representatives of several Brazilian entities, welcomed by Rui Carp, Chairman of the INCM Board of Directors, in the Noble Hall at Casa da Moeda.

The delegation, made up of ambassador Sérgio França Danese, Undersecretary-General of Brazilian Communities Overseas, Francisco de Assis Leme Franco, Chairman of CMB, Arnaldo Martins Seixas, manager of special projects at CMB, João Sidney de Figueiredo Filho, head of the circulating Currency Department at Banco Central do Brasil, and José Luiz Povill de Souza, coordinator-general of the Immigration Police - Federal Police Department, also had the opportunity to learn about production cycles of coins and security graphics products on a tour of the Casa da Moeda's production facilities.

The protocol of cooperation between INCM and CMB, signed in April 2010, allows for the sharing of knowledge, experience and competencies in the areas of coins, security graphic formats and secure identification documents, along with participation in joint projects in areas of activity that the two institutions have in common.
