The 14th Conference of Government Postage Stamp Printers' Association (GPSPA) chose the stamp 200 Years of the Peninsular War (1810-2010) Battle of Grijˇ as the best postage stamp printed using offset techniques. This award is an acknowledgement of the technical quality and artistic beauty of this stamp, produced by the INCM for the CTT (Portuguese Post).

This conference, held in Lisbon between the 24th and 27th of September, brought together delegations from Germany, Algeria, Belgium, Brazil, China, Denmark, Japan, Spain and Poland, the member states of the GPSPA, as well as representatives of the CTT, Correios do Brasil, the Portuguese Philately Federation and various supply companies, also selected the best postage stamps printed in the categories of engraving, intaglio printing, combined techniques, innovation and multiple philately items.

As well as the Stamp Award Program, which selected the best stamps and stood out as one of the high points of the event, the 14th GPSPA Conference, organised in Portugal by the INCM, was especially marked by the sharing of experiences, by the presentation of the most significant projects from the last two years and by the search for new opportunities and perspectives for the postage stamp industry.
